The first article I read was "The Psychology of Checklists: Why Setting Small Goals Motivates Us to Accomplish Bigger Things". I love playing video games, so I completely understand how small constant rewards can motivate people to keep playing. I do enjoy making checklist on paper and scribbling out a completed item. However, I dislike setting small goals. This can often lead to burnout.
The second article I read was "How to Beat Procrastination". This article offers some good advice such as: visualization, publicly commit, and finding downsides for procrastination. Overall, it was similar to the first article as it recommend small tasks to help motivate yourself for larger tasks.
