People see gods differently. Hindus often don't need to rationalize depictions of their gods. The world is objective; my world is subjective. Empathy may be need to try to understand the Hindu depictions of god. No depiction of god is complete. Not even a god can create a child alone. Humans can be depicted as gods. Those humans are often a local god who represent a greater god. Attempted to rationalize often have no impact on Hinduism. Hinduism has some overlap with the Greek gods. It does differ in many aspects however. Even marginalized communities can find a god to represent their wishes. Ganesha represents opposite ideas having a balance.
