I started at Holi because I will likely be writing about it for my project. It is often know as the festival of colors and celebrates the arrive of spring as well as other things.
Purnima
Purnima is the Indian and Nepali word for full moon. Full moons determine the start data for many festivals.
Kartik Purnima
Kartik Purnima is a festival celebrated by Hindu, Sikh and Jain. It is sometimes referred to as the festival of lights of the gods.
Jainism
Jainism is an ancient Indian religion. It has three main principles: non-violence, many-sidedness, and non-attachment. Many-sidedness refers to the truth being rarely simple and non-attachment focuses on not needing worldly possessions.
